At Municipal High School No. 17, an “open lesson” on security had been organized. Students, teachers, and parents had gathered in the large auditorium, curious to discover the program. A police officer came onto the stage in full uniform, accompanied by his partner—a German Shepherd named Rex—who walked quietly by his side.
